How does one of India's premier B-schools achieve remarkable elevations in its performance and its perception year on year? An Outlook insight
-
Come September, the corridors of educational institutions pulse with a quiet urgency. Companies come in for Pre-Placement talks, concentration shifts from case studies to caseloads, from theory to application, from exploration to execution. Ambition and stress thicken the air. However, IIM Bangalore retains a curious calm. Maybe the architecture slows one down. Or the tempered confidence of students and the experienced calm of the faculty. Placement here seems to be more about the process than a performance.
The Numbers Behind the Narrative
Founded in 1973, IIM Bangalore has consistently ranked among the top three B-schools in India. Academic excellence and the professional opportunities it provides has remained the mainstay.
Take the Class of 2025. IIM-B's largest batch yet, comprising 595 students, received over 650 offers, maintaining its 100% placement record. This was a sharp rise over last year's 572 offers.
