This summer's Paris Olympics finds a city embracing its role as host to drive innovation, investment and sustainable growth for the benefit of the French nation.

As the eyes of the world turn to France for Paris 2024, organizers are clear-eyed about the scale of the challenge ahead. Kicking off with a landmark opening ceremony that will see athletes from around the world travel nearly 4 miles on 90 boats to arrive at the Eiffel Tower and Pont d'Iéna, the Games bring 15,000 competitors to the French capital to participate in 878 events across 54 sports.
"This project will showcase the best of France," says Tony Estanguet, former Olympic champion and president of the Paris 2024 Organizing Committee.
