High school comedy from when Lindsay Lohan was Hollywood's It girl. Tina Fey penned this enduring examination of school cliques and cruelty, which has earned a cult following and even inspired a Broadway musical. (2004) ★★★★

A DC Comics supervillain team meeting that has the likes of the Joker (Jared Leto), Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie), Deadshot (Will Smith) and others pressganged into stopping the zombie hordes of the apocalypse. Despite having so many colourful characters, it's all bit of a dull slog and has had a much better reboot since. (2016) ★★★
