The Scottish soul newcomer tells us what winning talent competition Greene King Untapped means to her

JASMIN JET 'I DIDN'T EXPECT TO WIN AT ALL'

The first edition of Greene King Untapped - the pub giant’s very own nationwide music talent competition - reached its conclusion in September with a huge night at the George pub on London’s Borough High Street.

Bands and solo artists came together from across the UK for the chance to win £10K, a session at the capital's prestigious Metropolis Studios and a slot to perform at Pub in the Park in 2026. Oh, and the small matter of a mentoring session with Eurovision legend Sam Ryder.

But there could only be one winner. Step forward, Jasmin Jet, a pocket-rocket soul powerhouse from Falkirk who deservedly took home the prize after blowing away a judging panel that included Ryder and McFly star Danny Jones with her talent.

And, as Jasmin tells Rolling Stone UK, it’s just the start of her story...

How are things, Jasmin? Have you come back down to earth yet?
