From Illness to Transformation: My Spiritual Journey

A Childhood Filled with Challenges

When I look back at my childhood, the first thing that comes to my mind is not toys, games, or carefree moments. Instead, I remember hospitals, medicines, doctors, and constant health struggles.

From the age of three, my life revolved around illness. While other children were running freely and enjoying their childhood, I was fighting one health challenge after another. Deep inside, I had a passion for sports, especially badminton. I wanted to play, compete, and explore my potential, but my body often refused to cooperate.

A question continuously echoed in my mind:

"If others can live a healthy life, why can't I?" Unfortunately, as the years passed, my health challenges only increased.

The Turning Point: Loss, Pain, and Darkness

After completing my 12th standard, I moved to Delhi to pursue Chartered Accountancy. Like every young student, I carried dreams and aspirations. However, my health remained an obstacle. Numerous treatments, consultations, medications, and even an appendix operation became part of my journey.

Then life tested me in the most painful way possible. I lost my father.

His passing due to illness left a deep emotional wound in my heart. It felt as though a pillar of strength had suddenly disappeared from my life. After his departure, my own health deteriorated rapidly.

My studies came to a halt. My CA journey was paused. Eventually, I became completely bedridden.

I was suffering from nearly seventeen different health conditions. Ankylosing Spondylitis caused severe pain throughout my body. Walking became difficult. Standing without support was nearly impossible. I often relied on a walking stick.

There were days when I could not even get out of bed on my own.
