These tell the hour but are all about the moment. There's telling time, and then, there's telling a story of glamour, audacity, and pure artistic intent. While technical breakthroughs and sleek silhouettes continue to define much of high watchmaking, a few maisons at this year’s edition of Watches and Wonders decided to have a little more fun. Leaning into their jewellery heritage, they presented timepieces that don’t just sit on the wrist, but dance, dazzle, and flirt with the very idea of function. Whether worn as a brooch, slipped on like a ring or concealed within a necklace, these watches prove one thing: when jewellers turn to horology, the result is precious, powerful, and provocative.
