The Bold, beautiful and culturally rich state of God is all set to host the 54th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) from the 20th to the 28th of November 2023. This cinematic extravaganza promises a diverse array of films, events, and initiatives, making it a must-attend for film enthusiasts from around the globe.

Satyajit Ray Lifetime Achievement Award

The prestigious Satyajit Ray Lifetime Achievement Award will be bestowed upon the renowned Hollywood actor producer, Mr. Michael Douglas. With a career spanning over 50 years, Douglas has received two Oscars, five Golden Globe Awards, and a Primetime Emmy Award. His significant contributions to the cinematic universe and his humanitarian efforts make him a deserving recipient of this esteemed accolade.

International Section and OTT Awards

The International Section of IFFI has seen an impressive three-fold increase in film submissions, showcasing the global fascination for this festival. Additionally, in response to the booming OTT industry in India, 32 entries in 10 languages from 15 platforms will compete for the Best Web Series Award. The winner will be awarded ten lakh rupees, recognizing outstanding content creators in the rapidly growing OTT landscape.
