WHERE: Gloucester, Va.
What is the mission of your sanctuary? To help abandoned senior border collies. Often, they are abandoned due to the death of their guardian. These dogs are really vulnerable; people don't always plan for what's going to happen when the dog outlives them. In 2001, my husband and I launched Glen Highland Farm, which was at a farm in upstate New York. The goal there was to help as many border collies as we could.
