Sometimes, an object is more than beautiful — it’s a spark or catalyst for an entirely new journey. “I come from a business family, but beauty has always been a constant,” says Bengaluru-based Sridhar Poddar, the force behind Evoke London and KAASH gallery, who pivoted from the family business to build two ventures that champion artisanal creativity. With a grandfather who collected antiques and a mother with a keen eye for beauty across food, interiors, clothing, and more, his turn toward design feels almost predestined, although it unfolded with its own twist of serendipity.
