Obeetee inaugurates its first Bengaluru store with statement rugs, furniture, and a bold collaboration with Varun Rana

An exciting evening set the tone for Obeetee Carpets' newest chapter as the brand opened the doors to its 3,200 sq ft experience centre in Indiranagar, Bengaluru. Known as one of the world's oldest and largest hand woven carpet brands, Obeetee marked its 105-year journey with a space that celebrates both its signature carpets and evolving furniture line.

Obeetee's Chairman Rudra Chatterjee and President Angelique Dhama welcomed Bengaluru's design fraternity and architecture circles to preview the brand's evolving vision where Obeetee's legacy extends into the way homes are imagined and lived in, by weaving carpets and furniture into a single narrative. Alongside the room-like displays, a dramatic heritage wall with decorative motifs and digital storytelling of artisans in Mirzapur set the tone for the immersive experience.
