This latest design destination lives up to its name. Much like its historical analogue, the Colosseum boggles you with sheer numbers. Spread over seven floors and across 2,00,000 sq ft, it houses more than 120 furniture brands, 80 lighting brands, 200 home décor accessory brands and about 100 soft furnishing brands. A design monolith if you please, it is the brainchild of Neeraj Harkut, Rachna Harkut, Tejas Timbadia, Vandana Rao, Pawan Dugar, Kusum Dugar, Prateik Asrani, Varun Signodia, Shonit Agarwal and Namit Harkut. "We wanted to put not just Hyderabad but the country on the global map for design," says Neeraj. "Putting together your home is a deeply personal process, one that every member of the house should be involved in, intimately. The idea of creating this space was to make sure that the best in Indian and international design is available under one roof, making the process more inclusive," adds Tejas.
