Lüften is the German practice of opening windows for 30 minutes each morning and evening. Doing this allows humid air out and clean air in, reducing the potential for condensation and mould. It's also good for your health, as ventilation research published by the UK government during the COVID-19 pandemic found that 'a room with fresh air can reduce the risk of infection from particles by over 70%.'
