LET LIGHT IN

Sunlight helps reset our body clock. In fact, just 10 minutes of natural daylight in the morning can keep your sleep schedule on track, promoting a healthy circadian rhythm. In the winter months, sleep with open blinds to rise with the sun. Or invest in a sunrise alarm clock to feel the benefits all year.

MEASURE MATTRESS DEPTH

'The depth of a mattress often reflects the amount of "ingredients" within it,' explains Nichola Pass, marketing director at Sealy. 'If a mattress contains a high number of comfort layers, this will naturally create a deeper mattress which provides enhanced cushioning and pressure relief.' Mattresses between 25cm and 30cm in depth are likely to offer decent quality without breaking the bank.
