We love a colorful autumnal tablescape as much as we love cozy corners and outdoor spaces adorned with pumpkins and mums, so when we discovered Leslie "Lizzie" Rodgers and her sweet Georgia home, we had to learn more.

Cottages & Bungalows: Please tell us a bit about yourself, your family?

Lizzie: I am a multigenerational coal miners' daughter from a small Appalachian town in West Virginia. Being a coal miner's daughter meant we bought items with intention. Things needed to last. Antiques and vintage items were respected and appreciated. It was a connection to the past and where applicable, we relished knowing the history of what we owned. We are a family of storytellers.
