During a career spanning over 30 years, renowned interior designer Kathryn M Ireland has designed homes for the rich and famous in Hollywood, including Steven Spielberg and Steve Martin, and has taken on the challenge of transforming several idyllic French country houses.

Born in London and brought up between there and Scotland, Kathryn moved to Los Angeles in the late 1980s.

The world of interior design wasn't on my radar when I left London as an ambitious twentysomething. From a young age, apart from horses, houses interested me the most, and quickly turned into my profession and passion."
