A cheerful colour scheme has ensured that this bathroom, which was previously a bedroom, is a warm and inviting space

After relocating from London back to France with their two children, one couple decided to enlist designer Sean Symington to refurbish their kids' bathroom. They had seen his work in a friend's house and knew he was the one for the job.

The sloping ceiling of the room limited the amount of head height available and meant planning carefully to make the most of the space. ‘We used the two tall walls for the shower and the vanity so we had space for a mirror and lighting above,’ says Sean. ‘The red claw foot bath draws your eye as you come into the room.’
