Jenni Falconer on exercise, eating well and the one supplement we should all take

- Jenni Falconer

Running makes me feel INVINCIBLE'

When it comes to her fitness regime, presenter Jenni Falconer puts the rest of us to shame. Recently she completed her 10th marathon - yet, while she boasts a trim and toned physique, Jenni's motivation isn't purely aesthetic. 'Nowadays I don't exercise for weight loss,' she says, explaining, 'I want to be healthy and active, and live a long, healthy life. I want to feel good rather than look good - obviously looking good would be lovely but feeling good is more important.' Here the Smooth Radio presenter, who lives with actor husband James Midgley, 50, and daughter Ella, 13, shares some of her fitness secrets...

Starting light

Jenni, 49, first started taking exercise seriously at university, running to combat student weight gain and help her get from A to B on a budget. Three decades later, it's still her go-to exercise. 'I just love the feeling I get after a run,' she says. 'For me, the runner's high is the closest you'll get to feeling like a superhero. You feel invincible, like nothing can take the shine away from your happy mood.'
