She's reigned as the 'queen of daytime telly' for more than four decades - and Lorraine Kelly is not slowing down.

Despite cutbacks at ITV, the ever-bubbly Scot declared, 'I'm not done yet', throwing herself into her writing career, and embracing her new favourite role as Granny Smith to granddaughter Billie. And when it comes to her titular show - which will be 30 minutes and airing 30 weeks of the year from January - Lorraine has no intention of stepping aside.

'I love it,' she told Woman&Home.

Getting back on track

Like most of us, Lorraine's weight can fluctuate. The BAFTA-winning star was open about piling on the pounds during the pandemic in 2020, comfort eating and drinking more than she normally would.

After creeping up to a size 14, she joined WeightWatchers in 2022, losing nearly 2st and slimming back to a size 10.

But she has long been an advocate for getting up, moving and taking in the fresh air, so it's perhaps no surprise her health, rather than her figure, is at the forefront of her mind. In May 2025, she had her fallopian tubes and ovaries removed as a preventative measure, after not 'feeling all that well for a little while'.
