15 kg of gold, 18,000 emeralds and diamonds adorn Ram Lalla's magnificent idol.
At least 15 kg of gold and 18,000 emeralds and diamonds have been used in the making of jewellery for the Ram Lalla idol installed at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya.
Dedicated artisans meticulously crafted each piece using sacred texts such as the Adhyatma Ramayana, Srimad Valmiki Ramayana, Shri Ramcharitmanas, and Aalavandar Stotra, as their guide and inspiration, bringing out the scripture-based beauty of Lord Ram as described in these revered texts.
14 Pieces of jewellery used
The magnificent jewellery encompasses a total of 14 pieces, consisting of a tilak, a crown, four necklaces, a waistband, two pairs of anklets, Vijay Mala, two rings, and was completed in just 12 days.

Crown
The crown, being the centrepiece of the set, was made with commendable attention to detail. It bears resemblance to the turban of a five-year-old boy which conveys Lord Ram's tender age of a five-year-old boy. This was a specific request from the Ram Mandir Trust who wished for the crown to befit a child of this age.
