It all started in New York in 1969 with an oval bracelet, created at the height of a cultural and artistic revolution.

Imagined by designer Aldo Cipullo for Cartier New York, the LOVE bracelet became not just a jewellery icon but a manifesto. In one fell swoop, this jewellery for lovers, sealed with a screwdriver, reflected an era, embracing a new freedom in love and transforming falling in love into a radical adventure.

By imposing an innovative and nonconformist motif, leaving the bracelet screws in plain sight, Cartier kick-started a revolution with this piece of jewellery. This year, the Maison carries on with its vision of love by unveiling LOVE Unlimited, recreating an emotion that resonates just as strongly but with a different sensation.
