In the world of luxury, timekeeping has always held a special place—steeped in legacy, craftsmanship, and timeless appeal. But 2025 is flipping the script, one dial, one complication, one collector at a time. The watch world is embracing women, not just as wearers of beautiful watches, but as connoisseurs, curators, and serious collectors. Why else would the red carpets at Cannes and the Met Gala be awash not just with couture gowns and dazzling jewels, but with bold, statement-making timepieces? These watches didn't just tell time. They completed the look, adding a layer of quiet confidence to the most glamorous men and women in the spotlight.

This year is a celebration of haute horlogerie and high jewellery in equal measure. With iconic collections getting modern makeovers and new shapes and horological complications being introduced, women's watches have so much to look forward to. Starting this September, Swiss watches are set to become noticeably more affordable in India, thanks to the new India-EFTA Trade and Economic Partnership Agreement (TEPA). The 22% duty on Swiss watch imports will gradually drop to zero over the next seven years, beginning with a 10–20% cut this year alone. It's a major moment for Indian luxury buyers, and it's already shaking up the landscape.
