On 24 March 2015, people all over Europe were shocked when Germanwings Flight 9525 crashed into the side of a mountain in the French Alps, killing all 150 people on board.
That shock turned to disbelief when they learnt that the plane scheduled to fly from Barcelona to Düsseldorf had been downed on purpose, by co-pilot Andreas Lubitz.
