Less than two weeks after a record-breaking Winter Olympics for Team GB, the stage is set for more spectacular sport as Italy hosts the Winter Paralympics.

The competition will see more than 600 athletes from 50 nations contest 79 medal events across six sports: para alpine and cross-country skiing, biathlon, ice hockey, snowboarding and wheelchair curling. Curling gets under way this Wednesday, before the Opening Ceremony at Verona Arena on Friday evening.

Leading C4's coverage are Ade Adepitan, who won bronze in the men's wheelchair basketball at the 2004 Summer Paralympics in Athens, former rugby-union player Ed Jackson and racing driver turned presenter Billy Monger. Meanwhile, Britain's multi-gold-winning Paralympian, cyclist and former swimmer Dame Sarah Storey, and three-time Paralympic swimming champion Alice Tai join the lineup to report on the action in Milano Cortina.
