Happiness in Walford is usually followed by a great big dollop of misery, and so it is this week as Patrick ties the knot with Yolande. As the loved-up couple celebrate with their nearest and dearest, across the Square a gunshot rings out and a resident's life is left hanging in the balance.

That Patrick says 'I do' is quite the miracle, as he's previously insisted on postponing the nuptials. The pensioner is still coming to terms with his recent attack, and isn't up for the fuss and revelry a wedding brings.
