The maverick members of the Special Air Service take the fight to mainland Europe in the second series of BBC1’s acclaimed World War Two story SAS Rogue Heroes.

Opening in the spring of 1943, the six-parter finds the recently formed special- forces unit leaving the deserts of North Africa and spearheading an assault on Italy. Following the capture of Lieutenant Colonel David Stirling (played by Connor Swindells), the men are now being led by the unpredictable Major Paddy Mayne (Jack O’Connell).
