An idyllic reunion holiday quickly spirals into chaos for a group of six pals, as BBC1 whisks us to Greece in new darkly comic drama Two Weeks in August. Created by screenwriter Catherine Shepherd, the eight-parter centres around cash-strapped married couple Zoe (Call the Midwife's Jessica Raine) and Dan (Bergerac star Damien Molony), who are unable to keep up with their well-heeled mates. Also in the party are Jess (The Good Doctor's Antonia Thomas) and her husband Solomon (This Town actor Nicholas Pinnock), who are navigating parenthood and insecurity, plus Jacob (Twenty Twenty Six's Hugh Skinner) and Nat (I Hate Suzie's Leila Farzad), whose friendship is threatened by an unexpected arrival. As the gang attempt to regain their lost glory days, an illicit kiss disrupts everything. Will their lives ever be the same again?
