Love curdles to hate in Disney+'s new black comedy The Roses, a reworking of the hit 1990 film The War of the Roses, which starred Michael Douglas and Kathleen Turner.

Benedict Cumberbatch and Olivia Colman play seemingly perfect couple Theo and Ivy Rose, whose break-up becomes increasingly bitter and vengeful.

'As a couple, they are very identifiable, says The Imitation Game's Cumberbatch, 49.

"They are two people who love each other but are dysfunctional and hit a massive, massive bump.'
