Music drama The Runarounds follows an aspiring rock group

New drama series The Runarounds may follow a well-trodden path as it focuses on a group of teenagers who start a rock band, but this eight-parter has an added twist. For its stars are the members of a real-life band – and most of them have never acted before.

‘I totally stumbled into this,’ laughs guitarist Axel Ellis. ‘I have not been an actor ever before in my life, so it’s been a crazy, fun experience. Most of us are musicians first.’
