Can Vicky McClure smoke out a dangerous terrorist with a personal vendetta?

Daring bomb-disposal officer Lana Washington finds herself in another desperate race to save the lives of Londoners as Trigger Point returns to ITV1 for an explosive third series this week.

The six-parter, produced by Line of Duty creator Jed Mercurio, opens with Lana and her team of brave expos battling to save a man from a black cab that's been primed to blow up if he leaves it.

However, as they struggle to free him, the expos realise that he wasn't chosen at random and the attack is the start of a sinister campaign from a terrorist who's targeting people in a mysterious bid for revenge.

‘There are loads of twists and turns again this year,’ says Vicky McClure, who plays Lana. ‘Your Sunday and Monday nights are about to be filled with “Triggerverse” gold – the explosive moments are coming thick and fast. We’ve made a banging show, and everyone’s really upped their game.’
