"He was an enthusiast about life," said Annette Bening of Rob Reiner, the sitcom actor turned renowned director who helmed her 1995 political rom-com The American President.
Such sentiments make it all the more difficult to process the murders of Rob, 78, and his wife, Michele Singer Reiner, 70, who were found on December 14 in their Los Angeles home, stabbed to death, with their son Nick charged with first-degree murder.
