THE ACTOR AND SON OF CLINT EASTWOOD TALKS ABOUT HIS LATEST ACTION MOVIES AND LIFE IN THE FAMILY BUSINESS

“I got the dirt. I got all the dirt,” Scott Eastwood teases. He’s talking about hanging out with Sylvester Stallone behind the scenes of their new action movie Alarum, but beyond a few generalities he declines to get specific about his conversations with the 78-year-old Rocky and Rambo icon. “I got some stories, probably some ones I can’t repeat,” he continues. How about sharing a PG anecdote? “PG?” asks Eastwood with a smile. “No, not too many PG ones.”

Tough guys, it seems, have a code of silence. And in the past decade Eastwood, 38, has rightfully earned the title of tough guy, like Stallone and his own father, 94-year-old Oscar winner Clint Eastwood. In the years since he broke out in Taylor Swift’s 2014 “Wildest Dreams” music video and the 2015 Nicholas Sparks romantic drama The Longest Ride, Eastwood has stacked his résumé with movies that require him to pack heat and kick butt, including Pacific Rim: Uprising, The Outpost and Overdrive.
