COMEDY-DRAMA The bomber has blown his cool: Bob Ferguson (Leonardo DiCaprio), a onetime revolutionary and explosives expert, is shouting into a pay phone, frantically trying to reconnect with his old underground cell. Bob needs to skedaddle, pronto. His longtime nemesis, one Col. Steven Lockjaw (Sean Penn), has suddenly resurfaced in hot pursuit, accompanied by an entourage of pitiless enforcers. The problem is that Bob can't remember the right code words, and the anonymous voice on the other end of the line refuses to bend the rules. It's the anarchist's version of customer service. "I'm a drug and alcohol lover," Bob pleads into the phone, trying to explain his brain fog. Meanwhile Lockjaw, whose tightly muscled physique, ramrod stride and angry squint suggest a neofascist Popeye, is closing in, minute by minute.
