The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention warns that flu cases are on the rise and estimates that up to 3.6 million people in the U.S. have already been sick this year, while as many as 50,000 are expected to die from the virus annually. But there are some basic things you can do to help avoid illness this holiday season. Here Dr. Adam Berman, associate chair of emergency medicine at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, explains:
