The latest iteration of the Gucci Bamboo the Diva - is here. Does it have the makings of an 'it' bag like its predecessor?

Designer Sabato De Sarno's tenure as artistic director of Gucci might be short-lived, but the few collections he designed for the Italian fashion house will have a lasting impact. He will be credited with paring back the aesthetic of the house that had otherwise become synonymous with maximalism, with bringing back the Tom Ford-coded sexiness (designer Tom Ford was Gucci's creative director from 1994 to 2004) with a side of much-needed practicality, and, hopefully, with the Gucci Bamboo Diva bag.
