Reporter Damru

The shooting was happening in a bungalow and the forest dwellers wanted to enter it to get his autograph. Soon, a crowd gathered outside, but the security guards weren't letting anyone inside.

Damru donkey was also a part of that crowd. He was just passing by when, seeing the crowd, he went over and peeped across the wall. Damru's jaw dropped when he saw Lucky Kumar, all dressed-up and waiting for his shot.

"Brother, please let me in. I'll stand in a corner quietly and watch the shooting," Damru begged one of the guards.

"No, I can't let you in. Nobody has permission to enter," the guard said, leaving Damru disappointed.

He went back to stand outside and wait.

Just then, a van with a 'Press' sticker on it arrived, and a smartly-dressed squirrel got out. She walked up to the guard and said something to him in a low voice. The guard immediately allowed her into the bungalow. Seeing this, Damru got angry.

"What's this? I begged, but you didn't let me in. That squirrel whispered something into your ear, and you immediately let her in!" Damru said, enraged.

"She is a press reporter from Kanchanvan, and film stars invite media people like her to interview them. You have to wait with the public," the guard said sternly.

If I become a reporter, nobody can stop me from meeting Lucky Kumar, Damru thought.

imageDamru left the shooting spot and headed straight to the office of the forest's popular news channel, Champakvan News.

"Sir, please hire me as a reporter for your channel," Damru pleaded to Jumbo elephant, the Editor.

"Well, where did you study journalism?" Jumbo asked, pouring himself a cup of tea.
