Shortly after losing his legal bid to restore security protection for his family in the U.K. in a May court ruling, Prince Harry admitted to the BBC that he was “devastated.” And while he again called out his father, King Charles, for refusing to help him, Harry admitted he has “forgiven” his family and is ready to make amends. “I would love a reconciliation.”

But that's looking more and more un-likely, sources tell In Touch, especially now that he seems to have lost his biggest ally within the family: Princess Kate. After be-ing disparaged by Harry and Meghan in the five years post-Megxit, royal experts reveal she's given up on her brother-in-law. “She finally threw up her hands in disgust,” royal author Christopher Andersen told Fox News of the Princess of Wales' efforts to negotiate a family truce. “She did her bit, but it wasn’t enough to build a bridge between William and Charles on the one side and Harry on the other.” And Kate was Harry’s last hope, because Harry’s relationship with William and Charles “is non-existent,” longtime BBC Royal Correspondent Jennie Bond tells In Touch, adding that the princess is now firmly “united” with the royal family in shutting out Harry and Meghan forever.
