When we last saw the Man of Steel, he was left for dead — and it had nothing to do with kryp-tonite. The three Zack Snyder films that featured Henry Cavill in the red cape were not exactly beloved. Now a new era has risen from the Snyderverse ashes! And thanks to the terrific and surprisingly sunny updated version of Superman (in theaters July 11), the residents of Metropolis aren't the only ones looking up.
