Freddie Prinze Jr. revisits his nearly 30-year-old blockbuster, and he couldn't be happier. (Us, too)

"I really loved making this movie. I don't know if you can tell!" a beaming Freddie Prinze Jr. says to Us - and honestly, we can. The star of 1997's I Know What You Did Last Summer is hyped to be back as Ray in the slasher series' latest entry (in theaters July 18).

"The first two movies have a special place in my heart," Prinze, 49, says. He did meet wife Sarah Michelle Gellar on set, and although her iconic character didn't survive the original, he's reuniting with Jennifer Love Hewitt as Julie.
