SENIORS suffering from chronic low back pain may find relief with physical therapy focusing on the hips!

That’s the finding of researchers at University of Delaware (UD), who discovered such treatment appears to more rapidly reduce discomfort and disability than other interventions. 

“Older people are told there’s really nothing we can do about the pain, but that’s simply not true,” says UD’s Dr. Gregory Hicks. “Unfortunately, the societal attitude is older people don’t warrant the same level of care younger people do when it comes to musculoskeletal problems. But I don’t believe that.”
