DISEASE EATS INTO DANE, BIT BY BIT

DEVASTATED actor Eric Dane, who recently announced he's been diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis — ALS — noticed the first symptom of the fatal disease a year ago.

"I started experiencing some weakness in my right hand, and I didn't really think anything of it at the time," the 52-year-old Grey's Anatomy alum told Diane Sawyer on Good Morning America.

"I thought maybe I had been texting too much or my hand was fatigued. But a few weeks later, I noticed it had gotten a little worse."
