For decades, an outing to Crathie Kirk signalled the start of the royal summer

In their first gathering at Balmoral Castle since the death of Her late Majesty, the King and Queen were no doubt gratified to have their closest family members join them during their annual summer sojourn in Scotland.

Continuing Elizabeth II’s tradition of attending Sunday service at the local church, Crathie Kirk, Queen Camilla – regal in a green coat dress and matching hat – looked happy and relaxed as she and Charles made their way to the village church on Aug. 27. Once there, they were joined by the Prince and Princess of Wales, who drove William’s uncle Prince Andrew, as well as the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, along with Princess Anne and her husband, Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence.
