It's sleepless nights ahead for ice-dancing superstar Tessa Virtue and her husband, hockey player Morgan Rielly - baby number one has arrived!

Three-time Olympic gold medallist Tessa, 35, made the exciting announcement on Instagram, introducing her sweet little guy to the world with a series of four images - one in which she's cradling the swaddled newborn, her cheek lovingly pressed against his head.

The simple caption underneath the adorable photographs reads, "McCormick Rielly," with a heart emoji.

"It was my grandmother's maiden name," the proud new mom explained, also sharing a snap of her newborn in a onesie with "Je t'aime" ("I love you") inscribed across the chest.
