Celebrities turn up the heat as music acts rock the crowds amid sweltering temperatures at this year's festival
Neil Young, The 1975 and Olivia Rodrigo may have been the headline acts at this year's Glastonbury Festival, but its starry roll-call of fans, surprise performances and memorable sets made the 2025 event at Worthy Farm one for the ages.
The 200,000 revellers who flocked to Somerset included actress Anya Taylor-Joy, who was spotted watching Alanis Morissette’s show from the side of the Pyramid Stage with her husband, musician Malcolm McRae.
Actor Glen Powell was seen relaxing backstage, while actress Daisy Edgar-Jones strolled hand in hand with her boyfriend, photographer Ben Seed.
Surprise sets were the theme of the weekend, with Pulp, who first appeared at Glastonbury 30 years ago, playing to a packed-out audience that included Olivia, seen on the shoulders of her boyfriend, actor Louis Partridge. The crowd was also treated to a flypast from the Red Arrows.
COMEBACK KING
Elsewhere, Scottish singer Lewis Capaldi made an unexpected and emotional return to “finish” a performance he had been forced to abandon in 2023 due to vocal issues. “Second time’s a charm,” he told the audience.
