‘You know better than that,’ replied J-Lo, when asked if divorce rumours were ‘real’

After days of intense speculation, Jennifer Lopez tried to shut down the divorce rumours and speculation that she and husband Ben Affleck are living apart.

At a press conference in Mexico City to promote her new Netflix film Atlas, the 54-year-old actress and singer hit back when a reporter asked: “Is your divorce with Ben Affleck real? These rumours?”

“You know better than that,” she said, looking directly at the reporter.

Publications in the US have claimed Jennifer and Ben’s two-year marriage is in crisis and that he is contemplating divorce. The actor has been seen without his wedding ring, while the couple were filmed having what appeared to be a heated discussion in their car.

Showbiz website TMZ has reported that Ben, 51, has moved out of their Beverly Hills mansion and into a rental property nearby.

However, three days after he was seen without his ring, Ben was wearing it once more to meet friends in Santa Monica.
