HELLO! UK

December 18, 2023

Holding their parents’ hands and clutching Christmas cards, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis were guests of honour at Westminster Abbey as they led a roll call of royals and celebrities who turned out to support the Princess of Wales on one of the most important nights of her year.

The family drew cheers from the crowd gathered outside and were greeted music from carol singers from the Action for Children Young Carers Aloud choir ahead of Kate’s Together at Christmas carol service.

The festive gathering has become a seasonal highlight for the three young royals since it was launched in 2021 and this year was no exception, as they were joined by some of their cousins and other members of the royal family.

Before going inside, George, ten, Charlotte, eight, and Louis, five, headed to a special festive postbox placed outside the abbey so children attending the concert could send Christmas cards with their best wishes to other youngsters who might be struggling at this time.

The cards, which the children had written themselves, were later distributed to charities including Evelina Children’s Hospital, British Red Cross, Child Bereavement UK and East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices.

CHRISTMAS GREETINGS
