IT'S LOVE ALL AT THE AUSTRALIAN OPEN ANDRE AGASSI SHOWS THAT HE AND STEFFI ARE STILL THE PERFECT MATCH

Their romance has been a true love match since the start. And 23 years after they tied the knot in a surprise ceremony, that romance is still very much at the fore(hand) for tennis legends Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf.

Returning to make some guest appearances at the Australian Open last week, the American sportsman, 53, paid tribute to his champion wife, 54, by kissing a picture of her that had been put up inside the tournament’s home, Melbourne Park.

He later posted a series of photos on Instagram, along with a video of him touching a banner that listed the years in which German-born Steffi won the women’s singles at the Australian Open: 1988, 1989, 1990 and 1994.

In a mark of how much he respects his wife’s talents, Andre failed to mention how many times he had also been victorious on the same courts – in 1995, 2000, 2001 and 2003.

However, during an interview on local radio show Fifi, Fev & Nick for Breakfast, he said that he had learnt the best way to argue with his wife about who was more successful.

When asked for the secret to the success of their marriage, he said: “You pick your battles. The first battle I didn’t pick was bringing home my trophies, because if I bring home my trophies, she brings home her trophies.”
