Sharon Osbourne puts on a brave face as she returns to the party circuit with daughter Kelly

For her first night out since the death of her husband, Ozzy, Sharon Osbourne needed a close ally by her side.

So she turned to her daughter Kelly to accompany her to a glamorous London party thrown by the fashion designer Rebecca Vallance.

Mother and daughter looked suitably festive in complementary full-length gowns by Rebecca, who organised the cocktail party at Japanese restaurant Aki London to celebrate her latest collection.

The former X Factor judge has kept out of the public eye since Ozzy, Black Sabbath’s lead singer, passed away in July.

But Kelly was there to support her, holding her hand while they posed for pictures. She later posted some images of herself and her mother, 73, on Instagram and wrote next to one of them: “I love this woman!”
