There was a warm welcome from a family friend when the Princess of Wales visited a new £7m development in Southampton for women going through the justice system
Kate was in the city to open the Hope Street centre, which was founded by prison reformer Lady Edwina Grosvenor – whose brother, the Duke of Westminster, is one of Prince George’s godfathers. The facility aims to keep women in the justice system out of jail and with their children.
Greeting her friend with a kiss on each cheek, Kate said: “How are you?” adding: “Well done.”
