Designing the perfect celebration

C elio Saab - son of the Lebanese fashion designer Elie Saab - married his partner of four years, Zein Qutami, in a lavish three-day wedding celebration in Beirut.

The couple exchanged vows at the Antioch Patriarchate church in Bkerké, overlooking the glittering Jounieh Bay, during a breathtaking sunset ceremony.

The church became a floral paradise, adorned with hydrangeas and cascading greenery. The celebration weekend drew 1,500 guests, including Lebanon’s first lady, Neemat Aoun, who attended both the religious ceremony and the festivities.

Naturally, as the new daughter-in-law of one of the world’s most iconic designers, all eyes were on Zein’s wedding wardrobe – crafted, almost inevitably, by her new father-in-law. In signature Elie Saab style, high-octane glamour defined each of her custom looks.
