CASIO INDIA SETS SIGHTS ON TRIPLING SALES BY 2035

Casio India, the wholly-owned subsidiary of Japan-based Casio Computer Co. Ltd., has taken a decisive step forward in its Indian journey by announcing the sale of its locally manufactured watch models. This milestone marks a deeper integration of the brand into the Indian market and highlights Casio’s long-term vision to strengthen its presence in one of the fastest-growing consumer economies in the world.

Since its entry into India in 1996, Casio has steadily built a reputation synonymous with trust, innovation, and style. Known for its wide portfolio of digital and analog watches-including iconic categories such as G-Shock, Edifice, Vintage, and Sheen—Casio has become a household name for both functionality and fashion. Now, with local manufacturing of 28 specially curated models, the brand is further embedding itself into the cultural and consumer fabric of India.

“India has always been a priority market for Casio, and we continue to see immense potential for growth here,” said Takuto Kimura, Managing Director, Casio India. “By manufacturing locally, we are better equipped to design and deliver products that truly resonate with the Indian mindset and lifestyle. This move allows us to be more agile in responding to consumer needs, while also ensuring that the watches we offer are more aligned with local tastes and expectations.”

A Strategic ‘Make in India’ Milestone

The decision to manufacture locally is not just a business move; it is a consumer-first approach that reflects Casio's deep commitment to the Indian market. Local manufacturing enhances agility, enables faster product rollouts, and aligns with India’s national vision of self-reliance.
